The X-VET project \u2013 Integrated Sustainability for the Effective Navigation of Emerging Critical Transformations (Green & Digital & Economic)<\/em> \u2013 officially launched with a dynamic two-day transnational partner meeting in Vienna, Austria The meeting brought together representatives of all partner organisations to establish a shared vision and outline the project\u2019s strategic direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The opening session, led by UNNA, set an energetic tone as participants introduced themselves and reviewed the agenda and objectives. The consortium then moved through an in-depth discussion of the project\u2019s core components. UNNA presented the framework for project management, explaining the documentation processes, templates, and internal deadlines that will guide smooth cooperation. This was followed by ACCELERAS and Tehni\u010dka \u0161kola, who introduced the Integrated Sustainability Workbook – one of the project\u2019s key pedagogical outputs – emphasising its role in connecting sustainability with real VET practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The afternoon focused on the development of the Integrated Sustainability MOOC, presented by SIA Hotel School and ICEP, who outlined the structure and learning approach of the upcoming online course. Afterwards, Pu\u010dko otvoreno u\u010dili\u0161te \u010cakovec<\/strong><\/a> introduced the concept of the Integrated Sustainability Hackathons, describing how practical, hands-on collaborative challenges will support learner engagement and problem-solving. The day concluded with Ilmiolavoro and ICEP presenting the dissemination and certification strategy, highlighting how the project aims to ensure visibility, long-term impact, and recognition for participants.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The second day shifted from presentations to collaborative work. Guided by ACCELERAS, the consortium refined the structure, methodology, and examples that will shape the workbook\u2019s usefulness across diverse VET contexts. These working blocks allowed partners to harmonise approaches and ensure a consistent pedagogical vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the final part of the meeting, the consortium jointly defined next steps and an action plan for the coming months. Discussions focused on deliverables, communication workflows, and the timeline for the first project outputs. The closing round provided space for partners to share reflections and expectations for collaboration, reinforcing the strong motivation and shared commitment already evident in the early stages of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Vienna kick-off meeting marked a promising beginning for X-VET Erasmus+ project. With a clear structure, enthusiastic partnership, and a forward-looking vision, the project is well positioned to develop innovative sustainability-oriented tools, learning materials, and training formats that will support vocational education systems across Europe.
