New Professional Chapter – Excited to Share the News

I’m reaching out to share an important professional update. I have recently started a new position focused on the implementation of international projects in the field of adult education. After many years of teaching, research, and international cooperation, this new role feels like a meaningful continuation of my work in empowering learners and educators beyond traditional classroom settings.

My background includes human rights and citizenship education, Holocaust and genocide education, history and cultural heritage, as well as media and digital literacy – particularly the critical use of AI in educational contexts. In this new chapter, our primary focus is on developing and supporting projects that clearly contribute to adult education, whether through innovative learning methods, inclusive community programmes, or lifelong learning initiatives.

Looking ahead, I am especially interested in project ideas that explore:

  • adult education as the central framework,
  • Holocaust education, remembrance culture, and confronting distortion,
  • critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and reflective civic education,
  • learning outside traditional boundaries (community-based, digital, experiential, and intergenerational formats),
  • citizenship education and democratic culture,
  • media and digital literacy, including responsible AI use,
  • European values, tolerance, and intercultural dialogue,
  • political literacy and active citizenship,
  • support for vulnerable or underrepresented adult learners,
  • sustainability, local communities, and green transitions,
  • and generally, any initiative that combines education, innovation, and social responsibility in a way meaningful to adult learners.

For colleagues who would like to know more about our organisation and recent project experience, I can send you our PIF (Partner Information Form) for your reference.

I remain very open to future collaboration as long as the projects meaningfully engage with adult education in its many forms. If an opportunity emerges where our interests and expertise align, I’d be happy to discuss it.

I look forward to staying connected and exploring new possibilities together.

Warm regards, Miljenko
