Bio

From 2005 to 2018, and again from 2022 to 2026, I taught History, Sociology, Politics and Economics, Citizenship Education, and School and Community in primary and secondary schools. Between 2018 and 2022, I worked at the publishing house Profil Klett as an editor of print and digital educational materials. Since 2025, I have been employed at the Public Open University Čakovec.

I am a doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Education, specialising in educational sciences and future perspectives in history education. In 2023, I was awarded a HISTOLAB fellowship, followed by a fellowship from the Georg Eckert Institute for International Textbook Research (GEI) in 2024. I am a member of the International Research Association for History and Social Sciences Education and the International Society for History Didactics.

Throughout my career, I have participated in numerous projects, including initiatives carried out with the Association for Education and the Promotion of Human Rights, EUROCLIO, the Croatian History Teachers’ Association, HERMES, the Anne Frank House, and as part of Croatia’s Comprehensive Curriculum Reform, where I served as a co-author of the Politics and Economics curriculum.

I have delivered numerous lectures and participated in a wide range of national and international conferences. I am the author of several professional and academic papers, as well as approximately ten textbooks, educational resources, and books. My professional certifications include Microsoft Certified Educator, Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, Flipgrid Ambassador, Google Certified Educator, MagicSchool AI Pioneer, and Gemini Certified Educator, among others.
